Entry Requirements

TRANSFER STUDENTS

• Completed Application for Admission form
• Official transcript with certified English translation
• Latest diploma with certified English translation
• Current school's Form I-20
• Passport copy (include dependents' passports, if applicable)
• Copy of visa (or Form I-797A)
• Bank statement showing a minimum balance of $15,000
o Affidavit of support required if using a sponsor’s bank statement
• Application fee: $315 (LA Campus)

NEW STUDENTS

• Completed Application for Admission form
• Official transcript with certified English translation
• Latest diploma with certified English translation
• Passport copy (include dependents' passports, if applicable)
• Bank statement showing a minimum balance of $30,000
o Add $5,000 for each additional dependent
o Affidavit of support required if using a sponsor’s bank statement
• English proficiency test record
• Application fee: $420 (LA Campus)

CHANGE OF STATUS STUDENTS

• Completed Application for Admission form
• Official transcript with certified English translation
• Latest diploma with certified English translation
• Passport copy (include dependents' passports, if applicable)
• Copy of current visa (e.g., J-1, B-1/B-2)
• Copy of I-94 arrival/departure record
• Bank statement showing a minimum balance of $30,000
o Add $5,000 for each additional dependent
o Affidavit of support required if using a sponsor’s bank statement
• English proficiency test record
• Application fee: $420 (LA Campus)

After Admissions

Admitted students will be required to sign or receive the following acceptance package after admissions:

o Acceptance Letter
o Enrollment Agreement
o WCU Catalog
o Student Handbook
o Transfer Credit Form (if applicable)
o Other admission forms to be signed by Student, such as acknowledgement forms
o Registration for courses in the admitted quarter required.

Attend the New Student Orientation

An applicant should show maturity and have an understanding of the roles and responsibilities. All applications and supporting documents submitted and received shall become the property of WCU.
